The Paper Girl is a blog about finding, collecting, using, and selling vintage ephemera.
I have been in some version of the second-hand business since I was a baby. From watching the crowds in my mom’s flea market booth to cataloguing local auctions, listing items on eBay to helping run a consignment and second-hand shop, I’ve been at this for a long time—just never full-time.
Until now.
Whether you’re new to the wonderful world of old paper or you’re a veteran, I’m hoping you’ll find something you enjoy here.
Mission
There are three parts to my mission:
- to digitally preserve and share vintage and antique ephemera for future generations.
- to teach other resellers how to source, sell, and even preserve more ephemera so that more pieces make it out into the world.
- to provide fellow crafters with a database of material that’s free of AI images.
What to Expect
All images offered for download and/or sale on this website are from vetted sources, including my personal collection (that I scan and edit myself) and the public domain (being more than 70 years old). I do not use AI to generate images or text.
Digital files offered for sale are of my own creation and do not use generative AI. I primarily use Affinity for graphic editing.
I write every article, too.
How I Can Help You
I offer various services to help pay my bills. I also sell vintage and antique ephemera, jewelry, and other trinkets that strike my fancy—I get compared to a magpie a lot.
Every purchase made helps me spend more time doing the things I love: writing, collecting, and reselling.
