Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days for physical items and 14 days for courses. If the applicable time period has passed since purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To request a return or refund, send us an e-mail with your request. We may ask for pictures of the physical product to determine whether or not a return is necessary or possible. If we decide that a return is required, we will provide the shipping address. The customer pays return shipping.
We do not offer refunds or returns on digital products or subscriptions. We offer returns on a case-by-case basis for vintage and antiques.
A course may only be refunded if you haven’t completed any of its modules.
To be eligible for a return of a new item, such as a physical journal or paper product, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unopened and unused.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer!
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Depending upon the payment method and processor, refunds may take up to 14 days to process—we don’t have control over this. If your refund has not been processed within that time, please contact us and let us know. We’ll see if there’s an issue on our end.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, please click here to send us an e-mail. Exchanges are not offered for digital products or courses.
Shipping returns
The return address is only supplied in the case of an approved return. Please e-mail us at mel@thepapergirl.ca to request a return before trying to send anything.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
