Happy Valentine’s Day! … If that’s your thing. If not, you can skip this one, I won’t be upset. I promise. Honest.
Today’s post has a mix of mid-century and antique pieces, elements and full cards. Valentine’s Day imagery is pretty consistent: there are hearts, sometimes there are couples. You’ll occasionally find something that’s really weird—especially if you get your hands on anything Victorian—because the world of old postcards is… magical.

I’d really like to redraw her. Eventually. I’ll find some time, maybe (gross sobbing goes here).
Anyway, some hearts. The original is the greenish-blue, the other two are a quick adjustment.
This boy is going to drum his way into somebody’s heart.
Lastly, but certainly not least, this lady watering heart-flowers is from an antique card. She’s very cute, too!
